Our Process

Eye-catching graphic design is not easy work, and it is a team effort. Consider your graphic designer as your personal consultant working to solve problems. A graphic design team is often a combination of other problem-solving specialists such as illustrators, cartoonists, photographers, and writers.

GINGALLEY is your team.

Your preconceived notions and ideas will be challenged as GINGALLEY finds the best solutions to getting your project noticed in an age of overwhelming information.

Expect to be able to work closely with the designer(s) during the creative process. It is essential for all parties to provide clear communication and mutual respect.

The message conveyed through graphic design shall be evident to the anticipated target audience. We will assist you with making your vision become real, while offering experienced advice about image and advertising.

From conception to completion. From logo to print to web. GINGALLEY can help you every step of the way.

Good Art Is Interpreted. Good Design Is Understood.

Various types of projects have differing production schedules and turn times.

At GINGALLEY, we suggest for you to budget your time, setting a realistic deadline. We will begin with your target date of publication and work backwards. Flexibility is key and you should be willing to add a few days as a buffer in order to avoid rushing the job. This is especially important if your project requires several people to review and approve the final draft.

Each Project shall include one round of revisions after a layout is chosen. These revisions should be clearly communicated by the customer. Any additional changes that are not negotiated up front will be billed in addition to the original quotation. In the unlikely event that a complete redesign is required, a new quotation contract shall be generated.

What to Expect During a Typical Production Schedule

Consultation: We discuss all of the parameters and scope of the project with the customer.

Quotation: A detailed estimate is supplied to the client for review and acceptance.

Acceptance: Once the customer has accepted the quotation in writing (email), the design process begins.

Submittal: The client will need to provide any available input such as: completed copy/text/content, existing logos and/or artwork, photos, etc.. Customers who require a logo, art, and/or written content will have been quoted for such items (3-14 working days will be required for initial design mock-ups — dependent on the complexity of the project and the target date for release. Fees for rushed jobs will be discussed during the Consultation and Quotation processes).

Review: The client shall review the proofs and drafts provided.

Changes: The customer will approve the proofs and drafts as-is or take this opportunity to suggest changes and tweaks. (2-7 working days must be allowed to apply the changes after review).

Second Review: After any changes and tweaks are completed, the customer will be asked to review and approve. If further changes are requested (not including typos), further cost will be added dependent upon the type and scope of such changes (the time frame will depend upon how extensive the changes are and how quickly approval is provided).

Final Approval: Once all of the changes have been made and the customer has provided final approval, the order will go to press and/or be uploaded to the web as requested. (Typically, printing turn times are 5 to 7 working days, but can be up to 15 working days. Printing time depends on the complexity of the project, the quantity, the product, and the printer's schedule at the time of order placement.)

Payment: All orders for tangible items (printed goods) must be paid at the time of order placement.

Delivery: Typically shipping times are 5-7 days; however expedited shipping can be arranged. Correct shipping information and addresses must be provided at the time the order is placed by the customer.
